Poster & Typography prompts
Poster and typography prompts: travel posters, event key art, retro prints and covers with lettering. Each spells out the layout and palette; swap in the words you need.
4 tips for Poster & Typography prompts
- 1
Quote the text
Write “a headline reading "DOVER"” and the model is far more likely to spell it right.
- 2
Pick an era
Art Deco, Bauhaus or 80s neon is easier to steer than “a nice poster”.
- 3
Limit the palette
“Only cream, deep teal and orange” makes it read like a design.
- 4
Describe the layout
Symmetry, margins and a centered subject give a poster its order.
Questions
- Can I use these prompts as they are?
- Yes. “Create with it” fills in the model and ratio too, and you can copy any prompt to use elsewhere.
- Will the lettering come out wrong?
- Short English headlines usually come out right; long sentences and Chinese are harder. Fewer words, in quotes, work best.
- Can I use the images commercially?
- Images you make are yours, subject to the terms of the model you used. Treat other people's works as references only.
